Smelly lawn chemical trucks, spraying away. I feel sorry for their operators, men who will be exposed to this crap. Fertilizer is one thing, herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, quite another.
Matzah, just saltless saltines. Tasteless too.
Dyed daisies. Saw them yesterday, practically magenta pink. They turned the water pink and stained the poor white lilies next to them in the vase. They also looked dumb with the red roses.
The use of "gifted" for gave, as in "she gifted me those flowers". Utterly sloppy sounding and generally low. One despairs.
