More on ETSY

I hate to leave the possible impression that Etsy is not usually safe, it is. This dreadful seller who ripped off many had delicious items at good prices but NO feedback. I think the trick to success is feedback as it is on ebay. I do think Etsy should find a way to make sure sellers are legit especially if they list a huge number of things rather rapidly, but it is usually a safe place to buy. The only other issue I ever had was with a seller who sold me a "sterling" bracelet. Magnets do not stick to sterling and back it went for a full refund. While the Maximalist would know to test the item, not everyone would so this was forgivable. Sigh.

Anyway I just finished another transaction with a lovely seller who has sent me remarkable buys in the past. And I have no reason to doubt that these items will not be wonderful too.

The key to etsy and ebay is feedback, pictures, and questions. Will it always be great even then? Maybe not, but check the listings for return policies. My experiences with long established stores has not always been perfect either, so I have no fear in continuing.
