Next up for the maximalist who can usually tolerate about two films a month, maybe less, two Michael Wilding films: STage Fright (Hitch knew a fine actor when he saw one) and Torch Song and In Which We Serve. I am also very tempted to buy the Wilding/Caron version of Cinderella. Undoubtedly the definitive Prince Charming.
Fortunately, English Without Tears is available on streaming.
I never thought The King's Speech was well served by Colin Firth...where are all the men who look like King George and Michael Wilding these days?
