Being done with the PA Turnpike...nothing like 18 wheelers flying past you at 85mph through the Allegheney Mountains! White fisted driving.
That Kate Middleton did not opt for a strapless dress, tres classique choice, well done.
Restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. Went to Sonoma last night after Pitt's graduation. It was fabulous and worthy of NYC but way less money. The Indonesian Duck was perfect, the salmon was scrumptious and the vegetarian onion soup (in mushroom broth) was simply the best. Loved the service, loved the decor, and the elbow room was grand, indeed. No crowding. Pittsburg, in general, has an excellent array of restaurants and things to do. I heartily recommend Phipps Conservatory, the Pittsurgh Symphony Orchestra, and all the sports teams that P'burgh can provide! You won't find crazier sportsfans anyplace, and crazy in a good way, too. Pittsburgh has great views with all those mountainous hills, and the rivers and bridges make it an interesting drive. I am besotted with Pittsburgh, can't you tell? You can easily drive and park just about anyplace in the city and environs, people are friendly and it lacks the megalopolis feel of NYC-Philly.
Wild about Wilding still, watching Cottage to Let tonight
